  • ANSI loops are the rounded ends of Rampit USA handrails. ANSI loops include pre-installed aluminum inserts (not pictured) and can be flipped to angle upwards or downwards.
  • Square ends are used to enclose and terminate the end of a handrail when space may be an issue. Square ends are sold individually and include pre-installed aluminum inserts (not pictured). Rampit USA recommends using ANSI loops whenever space allows.
  • Aluminum inserts are inserted into the open ends of handrail components to create a secure connection between various components.
  • Plastic knuckles are inserted directly into the open end of two handrail components to create a corner that may not be exactly 90-degrees.
  • Large bolt packs contain enough hardware for installing six handrail posts:
    • (12) 1" x 5/16" Carriage Bolts
    • (6) 2" x 5/16" Carriage Bolts
    • (18) 5/16" Washers
    • (18) 5/16" Hex Nuts
  • All Rampit USA ramps are attached to platforms using aluminum adapters attached to the ramp’s stringers. These adapters are reversible and can be used for ramps that go up or down. Each adapter pack includes two sets of adapters and hardware:
    • (2) Aluminum Adapters
    • (2) Angle Brackets
    • (6) 1" x 5/16" Carriage Bolts
    • (6) 5/16" Washers
    • (6) 5/16" Hex Nuts
    • (2) 1/4" x 1/2" Self-Tapping Screws
  • All Rampit USA aluminum ramps and platforms are assembled using a series of inter-connected pieces of light, and/or heavy tread. All tread pieces are six inches in length and can be cut to any width necessary. Medium tread is used in all ramps and commercial platforms. There are two different types of medium tread in all Rampit USA ramp sections. The first piece of tread is open on the front and the back, and is known as starter tread. This enables ramp sections to be connected to one another. All remaining tread on a ramp section is standard medium tread, and is open on the front, but closed on the back.
  • Stringers are shaped like an upside-down letter "F" and enclose all Rampit USA ramps and platforms. On platforms, two of the four stringers are usually flipped upside-down to create a smooth transition on and off the platform. Platform stringers are cut at 45-degree angles, whereas ramp stringers are cut at 90-degree angles. Stringers are sold individually and cut to the length specified. For a matching set, please add two of the same size to your cart.
