All Rampit USA aluminum ramps and platforms are assembled using a series of inter-connected pieces of light, and/or heavy tread. All tread pieces are six inches in length and can be cut to any width necessary.
Medium tread is used in all ramps and commercial platforms. There are two different types of medium tread in all Rampit USA ramp sections. The first piece of tread is open on the front and the back, and is known as starter tread. This enables ramp sections to be connected to one another. All remaining tread on a ramp section is standard medium tread, and is open on the front, but closed on the back.
